To see jewelries which carried women in the richest state of the Middle Ages, to learn more about Slavic knights and to shoot a bow, there is a minimum of the program Glorious Kiev.

The Middle Ages became the Golden Age in the history of Kiev. Four centuries in a row (starting IX^th till ХIII^th) the city was the center of social, economic and cultural development of the biggest state in Eastern Europe.

Saint-Sophia Cathedral in Kiev was built in XI century by the Byzantian masters and they have tried to create the main cathedral of the Kiev Rus’ not less solemn, than Hagia Sophia in Constantinople (Istanbul). Before reconstructions both temples were similar among themselves.

Kiev Pechersk Lavra also known as the Kiev Caves Monastery is one of the first monasteries founded in Kiev Rus’ time and operating up to now. The Monastery is situated on picturesque river bank, and its territory unites main Assumption Cathedral, 12 churches of different epoch, caves with tombs of outstanding figures of culture and religion and many museums. In our program is included the Museum of jewelry where presented a big collection of jewels since pre-Christian times.

Together with the Saint-Sophia Cathedral, Kiev Caves Monastery it is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage.

Exact copy of Kiev’s downtown from Kiev Rus’ times rebuild at the territory near contemporary megapolis. So, walking on in Kiev Rus’ Park, you can feel as an inhabitant of the medieval city. There we have planned interesting competitions for knights and their ladies!

A mix of past and present times it’s Podol. The oldest city part hasn’t changed the name since its foundation! Exact translation from Ukrainian the word Podol means a hem of a dress or clothing. And is called so, because Podol is a lower part of ancient city.

We cannot miss the excursion by Andriivskyi descent. Here, in souvenir benches necessarily bargain for the goods!
