1^st day, Saturday. This day is totally devoted to Chernobyl and Prypyat.

Chernobyl and Prypyat’ –the places not for all to visit. If you visit those places you will never find yourself the same person as before. Some time ago at the world’s map appeared Chernobyl and then Sarcophagus – the monument of the human carelessness. The history of the largest technological disaster, the spirit of dead city will make you to feel a fine line between a life of joy and apocalypse. The exclusion zone atmosphere gives you clear understanding of the human fault price.

7.30 Departure with modern bus (DVD, conditioner); Central Railway Station,

On the way unique archive images and movies about modern Chernobyl and Prypyat’ are demonstrated. Mysterious silent of the abandoned villages and picturesque landscapes impress a lot. But nevertheless some of the former habitants came back to native homes and now they live at the exclusion zone.

11.00 Arriving to Chernobyl. Conversation with Ministry of Emergency Situations representatives.

11.30-12.30 – Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant viewing point and viewing pavilion visiting.

13.00-16.30 – History of the pre catastrophe Prypyat’, time for walking around the city.

The city is waiting for people from all over the world who desire to see unique views from the roof, graffito on the walls; who are the "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.” game fans, and simply for not indifferent people. The city is waiting. And just here, at the narrow grown-over streets of so young and so old city you can understand the worth of ordinary things you have not appreciated before.

21.00-21.30 Arriving to Kyiv, Central Railway Station, Southern terminal.

Important information: External background gamma radiation doesn’t constitute a danger (except of the territory where visitors are not allowed). On 10 km high the power of the gamma radiation exposure dose composes from 200 to 600 micro-roentgens per hour, so radiation dose for one day can be compared to transatlantic flight.

2nd day, Sunday. Kyiv.

Walking tour across the old city center, visiting the national museum SOFIA KYIVSKA and two main cathedrals: St. Sophia (for the country) and St. Mykhail (for the city). Saint-Sophia Cathedral was built in the XIth century by the Byzantian masters. They had tried to create the main cathedral of the Kiev Rus’ not less solemn than Hagia Sophia in Constantinople (Istanbul). Before reconstructions both temples were similar among themselves. Lunch at Andriivsky descent – the Kiev Monmartre.

Kyiv is called “the mother of Rus lands”. Here is the Orthodox Church stronghold – Kyiv Pecherska Lavra. Over the course of history it was the spirituality central point for the orthodox Christians. The Kyiv Pecherska Lavra bell tower gives opportunity to enjoy great bird’s eye view. To see the true value of the Ukrainian ancient master hands you can at the Jewelries Museum. You will be surprised that shoed flea, the flower in the hear, the porters on the grain is the products of the left-handed master Nikolay Syadristyi, this and other miracles you can see at the Micro miniature museum (facultative).
